YOU ARE ALWAYS WELCOME TO JOIN HAVURAT SHALOM.  IF YOU WISH TO PAY ON LINE, YOU MAY DO SO - BUT BE SURE YOU EITHER MAIL THE COMPLETED MEMBERSHIP FORM BACK TO OUR MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE AT OUR POST OFFICE BOX - 568 - Andover, MA 01810
If you are interested in being a guest so you can receive notices about special events, please complete our sign up form which you can find here.

We offer two convenient ways to secure a membership.

Select which type of membership you would like using the "buy now" buttons on the Online Purchasing and Donations page. We accept PayPal secure transactions using credit cards or bank account withdrawals.  You do NOT have to have a PayPal account to use this option. You can also send us a check in the U.S. mail.  Our address is at the bottom of every web page on our site.

You can then either download and mail the membership form, or complete it online and send it to us via email.  Whichever you would like!  But remember, even if you are paying online, we still need your membership form to be sent.

Members are the core of our congregation, and enable us to maintain a vibrant havurah that is reflective of the needs, wants and creativity of its congregants.

There is no charge for tickets to our High Holy Day services or for any religious observances we offer.

We do sometimes request a fee for meals provided at different observances, but financial hardship shall never be a barrier to any member's participation at any event.

Sisterhood - We are now in our eleventh year of our Sisterhood, and we have shared some wonderful experiences, from jewelry-making, to field trips, to hosting guest speakers, and enjoying book groups.   We have also sponsored congregation-wide events, such as serving meals at a local meal center.  The Sisterhood voted to donate $500 to the Havurat Shalom Siddur purchase and we also made a donation  to the Merrimack Valley Jewish Federation for Miriam’s Seder! For those unfamiliar with the functions of a sisterhood, it is typically a social networking group primarily for women – a way for the women of the congregation to connect with one another.  It can support the congregation in various ways and can raise money for Jewish causes, but mostly it’s for fun!    We typically meet once a month throughout the year and, as a group, determine the events and activities in which we would like to participate.  We are open to all ideas.  Ours is an hierarchy-free, fully participatory, no-hassle sisterhood.  The annual dues are only $18 - please join us!  If you are new to the area or new to our congregation, this is a great way to meet people!
